Contracts Management Procurement Officer

Contract  for Hays in Gatwick

Our client, a large public sector organisation based in Gatwick, are currently recruiting for an Interim Contracts Manager, for a 2 year fixed term contract within their established Procurement team.The job role will involve defining and introducing requirements for contract management before the award of the contract to ensure that the reporting and delivery requirements are legally binding, managing a number of contracts in different categories including Facilities Management and consultancy.Strong analytical skills are essential for this role as you will be required to identify areas of potential cost saving and reviewing current supplier performance, together with developing key working relationships with internal stakeholders.Ideally you will have had previous similar experience within contracts management, and previous Public Sector experience and CIPs qualifications are highly desirable.
