Director of Estate Management

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, Residential and Commercial Services, the Director of Estates Management will take responsibility for leading a broad range of estates services across the University’s large, diverse and technically complex estate portfolio of over 400 buildings. You will lead teams providing estates maintenance, engineering, compliance, security, transport, sustainability and facilities management services, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and with an exceptional level of customer service.

The successful candidate will possess proven experience of leading an estates or facilities management function across a large scale estate portfolio.You will have a track record of leading change and transformation and driving performance improvement across a similar portfolio of services and will be exceptionally customer focused in your approach.Proven experience of leading and motivating a large scale in-house team is essential.

As a successful leader you will be highly motivated, committed and possessing excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate and communicate successfully within a large scale, complex organisation across a variety of areas and levels. Exceptional stakeholder management abilities are essential.
