Tennant Liaison Officer

An experienced TLO is required to manage, deliver and drive community/neighbourhood issues across the business.

The successful candidate will be required to have daily contact with residents for whom we are carrying out works. This will include visiting them prior to work commencing to explain what will be involved and likely timescale, assessing individual needs and identifying residents who will be more affected by the works. As work progresses, you will be required to have regular contact with all residents to resolve any issues that may arise. You should be well organised and able to cope under pressure and able to take criticism; excellent customer service skills are essential as is the ability to be empathetic to others and be able to think creatively to find solutions. Experience in Microsoft packages essential. Previous experience of working in the social housing sector would be beneficial as would previous experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities will include:

·To manage and work closely with the project delivery task teams on all aspects of soft issues such as tenant management, local employment initiatives, training and KPI data.

·To promote business at a high level with client infrastructure

·To lead innovative solutions that will provide greater efficiencies and benefits to our clients

·To act on and monitor customer satisfaction trends

·Provide monthly feedback reports on all issues

·Audit new site set ups to ensure consistence in accordance with SERS standards

·Provide support to business development to develop future opportunities to owner occupiers

·To implement new customer satisfaction audit on all new contracts

·Conduct sales appointments and surveys for the domestic market


·Meet people with ease and motivate them to seek opportunities and achieve high standard

·Generate and provide specialist and/or administrative services which benefit the organisation and lead to a high level of internal/external customer satisfaction

·Apply systematic and logical approach in order to get things right

·Be non-confrontational when handling or involved in conflict situations and in order to achieve agreed and acceptable standards and timescales adopt a passive and non-demanding working ethic

The successful candidate should be confident, enthusiastic and approachable with the ability to counsel, negotiate and advise others in a specialist are of expertise and possess the ability to communicate and have the persistence to see a job through to conclusion.
