HR Business Partner - Contract

A HR Business Partner is required by my client based in Northampton on a contract for 4-6 months to manage a project and also to support the business as a HR generalist You will be accountable to the Head of HR for delivering a number of projects, specifically the development of new pay arrangements and policy development and to provide frontline support to the organisations Care Division. You will also be required to support the HR team in the delivery of an operational HR and training service to the staff and managers.

Key responsibilities:

To research and undertake a number of projects on behalf of the Head of HR including the development and implementation of a new pay policy.To lead a review of the Organisations Staff Handbook and policies.To provide operational HR support - recruitment, employee relations etc.To provide professional support across the full range of HR and training activities.To identify specific employment issues from workforce trends to analyse and supply data to support the development of HR policies, initiatives and interventions to meet business needs.To work with the Head of HR to undertake projects and assignments as and when required.Establish and maintain effective evaluation processes and procedures specifically for recruitment, absence management and performance management and other HR areas as required.

Skills required:

CIPD Graduate or equivalent in experienceExtensive knowledge and experience of office systemsStrong IT skills and ability to use the full range of Microsoft Office packagesConfident and accurate numeric skillsSignificant practical HR experience including:

Developing and managing Pay and reward policiesPolicy developmentStaff consultationRecruitment and selectionEmployee relations - dispute resolutionExperience of providing front-line support to a complex business areaProven experience of researching informationDemonstrate significant project and data management experience
