IT Support Analyst

ODEON Cinemas are looking to grow their IT team and have a newly created position supporting their Executive and Central London based Marketing and Film Buying teams.

Role description

ODEON are looking for an IT Support Analyst to oversee all IT support activity in their London office who will be the first point of call and 'face of IT' in London, and support wider IT business related activity as required.

This is a real opportunity for a candidate to take full ownership over their role, and to build some strong working relationships with some of the business' most senior executives. The role will face constant change to ensure that it delivers the technical needs of the business therefore it is critical that the job holder is flexible and adaptable and can react to the changing business requirements.

Being located in the London offices, the role will need excellent communication and workload management skills to work effectively in a challenging area and being an ambassador for IT.

The role will involve:

Developing strong relationships with customers & Suppliers, to log and escalate calls with third parties where required, ensuring communication back to the customerPerforming a customer facing role focused on delivering first class customer serviceUtilising problem analysis techniques to diagnose and rectify technical problems and queries including hardware and software and ODEON's business applications

Who we're looking for

Technical background in management/maintenance of IT systems - specifically in an active directory environment/Windows 2003 and above, LAN, WANExperience in carrying out routine configuration/installation and reconfiguration of hardware and softwareIdeally computer sciences degree, but not essential if relevant prior experienceA strong eye for detail and quickly reacts to identify and resolve problemsEffective in identifying and resolving problems, seeks relevant data recognises important information and diagnoses of possible causesDeveloping a strong trust relationship with end users via a strong sense of ownership and accountability for work, working outside of core office hours as requiredAble to work in a fast paced but fun environmentExcellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (written, oral & presentation) using business-friendly and user-friendly languageAble to use own insights to deliver exceptional serviceSupports new processes and directionsTeam player with the ability to operate well and thrive in a team culturePassionate, enthusiastic and energetic. A self starter able to create and maintain effective level of output & Support


Experience with Mac Operating Systems, Cisco telephone system, Google Applications (Mail and Storage)
