We are currently seeking a versatile, hands-on, pro-active multi-skilled Shift Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our team of busy Engineers at our packaging facility in Eastbourne.
Main Responsibilities:Conducting reactive and PPM on packaging equipment Facilities maintenance activities on HVAC plant and associated equipmentPlay a key role in Total Productive Maintenance activities Monitoring the equipment operation, and ensuring stoppages are dealt with promptly Taking a lead in addressing any safety issues which may arise Using computerised systems to capture and monitor site activities Advise and train colleagues on the safe usage of machineryBe a member of the call out rota system
To be considered for this exciting and varied position, you will demonstrate relevant recognised electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications, with previous experience of working in the food/pharmaceutical industry, and also of working both autonomously and as part of a team.
Experience of undertaking basic fault find, modification and debug on B&R PLC's and Danfoss, Allendale and Parker Inverter Drives, will prove distinctly advantageous but is not essential.
