Position purpose summary
The Compliance Administrator position is responsible for Legal Compliance Program of Anytime Fitness UK and associated matters
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Setting Strategy & Vision
·Develop and maintain a Compliance Program to cover start to end franchise matters, including due diligence for sales, property arrangements, franchise agreement compliance, breach of contract matters and other issues of legal compliance
·Develop and implement procedures relating to franchise and other matters, as set out above
·Management and supervision of administrative and compliance staff as required
·Liaison with the USA and Australia with regard to consistency of Compliance matters and auditing
·Liaison with Financial Control to ensure setting and payment of fees
·Development of robust systems to enable Anytime Fitness UK expansion
·Preparation and tracking of franchise documents
·Development and maintenance of hard and soft copy files and allied databases, including CRM solutions, in accordance with Data Protection legislation
·Assist in training to all new franchisees (NFT) and refresher training as necessary to franchise holders and club staff to Anytime Fitness brand standards.
·To cultivate and maintain excellent, professional working relationships with franchise holders and preferred vendors.
·Assist in the development of Business Risk and Mitigation models
Organisational Management & Building Culture
·Take responsibility for the effective operation the Compliance Program within a framework of KPI’s & performance management
·Oversee the Compliance operations of Anytime Fitness UK and manage its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
·Create and maintain procedures for implementing Compliance and other legal matters
·Establish and maintain effective communication processes with staff, franchise holders, business & strategic partners
·Promotes a culture that reflects the Anytime Fitness’ values and encourages good performance.
·Ensure adherence to all Workplace Health & Safety Standards and other relevant legislation.
·Provide support to the Operations team
Capital Allocation & Financial Management
·Monitor payment of fees at point of receipt
·Deliver the Compliance Program within established budgets
Required knowledge, skills & abilities
·A record of superior academic achievement and proof of past workplace excellence
·Business and/or legal qualification to advanced level
·Knowledge of compliance systems
·Demonstrate high level strategic and analytical skills
