Role Function:

To design, implement and manage a range of processes to support the new Group recruitment policy within the region, and to support the Group development processes, along with the associated administrative systems to fully support the requirements of both the management team and other levels of staff across the EME workforce, in close consultation with the operational HR team and operational managers.

Role Responsibilities: -

·To design, implement and manage appropriate processes to ensure the accurate and standardised implementation of the Group recruitment policy.Function as the champion of the recruitment policy and drive compliance.

·To ensure the creation and maintenance of appropriate links with an appropriate range of preferred recruitment providers to cover all business lines and specialities across the region

·Proactively identify and source industry professionals to build an active database of qualified candidates

·To ensure diversity initiatives are implemented, acted upon and good faith efforts are deployed to achieve diversity goals

·To investigate and maximise the usage of social media advertising to support the businesses recruitment needs in conjunction with and/or as an alternative to the preferred supplier list detailed above

·To coordinate large scale recruitment projects as well as all management level recruitment (at Assistant Site manager level and above as set out in the Global Recruitment Policy)across the region

·Maintain internal data tracking and reporting as required.Advise management on solutions to improve the overall success of the recruitment and development programmes

·To review, redesign and re-invigorate the Company’s graduate programme, including advertising, recruitment, selection, assessments, induction and career development and assess the appropriate method of provision in terms of internal -v- external provision of service

·To set up a liaison network with appropriate individuals within the top 10 universities in the UK to ensure a close working relationship that will result in brand expansion and awareness improving the overall quality of the graduate recruitment programme.

·In conjunction with the Global HR Director, design and implement a talent development programme for senior management within the region, based upon the outcomes of the Human Resources Management System and related processes (or any alternative system that may be implemented) and recent talent assessment/development centres

·To ensure that the previously designed apprenticeship and traineeship schemes within the UK businesses continue to be used in the most appropriate and maximised manner across all business lines to maximise flexibility and central government funding, in addition to reviewing other possible government supported initiatives that may be applicable to the business

·To assist in the review of needs and design the appropriate solutions for the development of junior and middle management employees, again based upon the results taken from the Wingspan Appraisal system (or equivalent)

·To liaise with HR and training colleagues across other regions within the business to ensure a standardised approach to recruitment and development across the Group

Experience & Knowledge: -

The post holder should be able to demonstrate the following: -

·Detailed working experience in a similar role within a multi-site multi-disciplined organisation

·Knowledge of a range of recruitment techniques and current recruitment systems including use of social media

·Knowledge of current government funding and educational options

·Knowledge of best practice in relation to graduate recruitment and selection including previous working experience of partnerships with selected universities

·Detailed experience of operating at and communicating appropriately at different levels within a business from Executive Board to junior management levels

·A good level of communication and presentation skills aligned with detailed IT skills
