International Office Manager

Contract  for Gower College Swansea in Swansea

Initially a fixed term contract for 1 year, pending a review to make the post permanent

It’s an exciting time for the International team, as we take our strategy for growth to the next stage, with a clear focus on the opportunities currently available within the International market.

We are now seeking to appoint an International Office Manager to support our expanding provision.

The successful candidate has the opportunity to embed new job roles into the International Office managing and developing a small team to ensure the administration function of the department runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will play a key role in delivering the College’s International strategy and managing its implementation on an operational level. Working closely with the International Consultant, you will maximise business opportunities through passing on leads and working together on preparing bids. Knowledge of Visa and Immigration requirements would be highly desirable.

Outstanding hands on management, communication, organisation and planning skills along with an excellent track record of embedding and monitoring a complex administration function is an essential criteria for this role, as is previous experience of managing people and embedding processes and systems for audit and legal compliance purposes.

Knowledge and experience in supporting and developing overseas activity and an excellent awareness of cultural diversity would be advantageous.
