Sales Executive

Permanent  for Team Tours Direct in Swansea

Purpose of Post

As a Sales Executive you will take responsibility for both winning new business and managing accounts within a vertical market. Your potential customer base will be diverse, ranging from exciting prospects to retaining existing clients maximising the potential of each account. To build and manage relationships with such a client base requires huge levels of drive and commerciality combined with strong influencing skills. This is an office based role however you will be encouraged to build long term customer relationships with your and clients as possible. The ability to present a diverse range of products and services and close business is essential. 

Primary Objectives of the RoleIdentify sales opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their needs as a client; researching and analyzing sales options.Sell services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending options.Identify improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Maintain technical knowledge by researching the market; staying up to date with current sporting news; establishing personal networks; displaying a keen interest in sporting activities.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Summary of Main Responsibilities and ActivitiesAt least two years sales experience, specifically utilising phone, online and email channelsA proven track record of dealing with sales enquiresYou will be confident in up-selling other services to existing clients and building strong relationships with clientsYour role will include a degree of event coordination, ensuring all the clients requirements are metYou will be expected to manage your own schedule and workload so that the necessary projects are prioritised You must have the ability to work to strict deadlinesBuild and develop a prospect base and attain new clients, so as to make a positive contribution to achieving the Company’s sales forecast, plans, programmes and budgetsAttending networking events and develop professional connections and IntroducersTo work closely with the Operations Director and the Marketing Director, ensuring a high level of liaison with, and understanding of, their requirements to maximise customer satisfaction.Develop good communications with all other areas of the business and with customersContribute towards the development of a high Company image of professionalism, competence and customer satisfactionAny other duties, as required by your Line Manager, in accordance with the nature of this positionBackground
