Area Manager - Costa Coffee
In joining us, you will not only be working with one of the world's best known coffee brands, you will also become part of a growing franchise business and an organisation who represent many well known high street names in the food and hospitality industry.Initially, this role will manage 14 stores, however, ambitious development plans will see this number rise in the coming months. With full P&L responsibility, our Area Managers are expected to be slick operators, in tune with the needs of each business they manage, taking account of customer base, geography and at the same time, ensure the delivery of a consistently high standard of service with every drop of coffee. We would like to see applications from candidates who already have multi-site food retail experience. Ideally this would have been gained in a fast paced environment. We need someone who can spot an issue at 20 paces and have a solution for it within the next 10 paces. Yes, we need you think that quickly. But experience has shown us that there are Area Managers who can do just that.You need great communication skills - you will be dealing with customers, staff, your store managers, your line manager and the business owner as well as suppliers as well as colleagues from Costa Coffee and other businesses within the group. The stores are based in the North East of England, so a willingness and ability to sit behind the wheel for a fair proportion of your working week is essential.
