Project Management Office Support Assistant

The work we do for national and local governments involves us in the most important areas of public service, including health, education, transport, science and defence.We are currently recruiting for a Programme Management Office (PMO) Support Assistant to work Mercedes-Benz in Milton Keynes. The role will involve working a 37.5 hour week 0830-1730 Monday-Friday. The role of the PMO Support Assistant is to assist the Strategic Programme Managers through coordination, managing documentation and general support in the implementation of key business projects related to the GET ONE Program and Key Strategic Projects.Duties and responsibilities- Provide support on projects to enable the project team to fulfil its aims and deliver on projects- Draft weekly status reporting for Programme Manager.- Contribution to and production of status reports for key business meetings - Manage UK project plans, co-ordinate tasks and allocate appropriate resource in conjunction with Project Leads.- Assist with the compilation of information for reports and presentation to include diagrams and spreadsheets.- Update, copy and distribute all project management products, e.g. reports and logs for issues, risks.- Co-ordinate and attend business meetings (on and off site), take minutes.- Co-ordination of Program Country visits.- Review and ensure project documentation is correctly filed- Manage Dept invoices and purchase orders to ensure correct costs centres are recharged.- Maintain diary function for all department staff

Essential Skills- Positive, proactive and enthusiastic- Excellent communication skills- Able to cope in a multi-project environment with regular interruptions- Self motivated- Excellent organisational and time management skills- Results oriented- Team player- Good knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)- Knowledge of MS Sharepoint beneficial- Knowledge of Project Management methodology beneficial- Ability to build relationships with a variety of different stakeholders at all levels
