Led by a multi-award winning Director, the HR team at the newly merged St Mungo’s Broadway is helping to steer the organisation through significant and exciting period of change. The team has ambitions to become the sector leading HR function as it looks to achieve a number of ambitious and compelling goals which will have a massive impact on the organisation and its service users. This is an exciting but challenging time for an experienced HR professional to join us and play a key part in shaping how we deliver outstanding HR services.
·Personally acting as a HR Advisor to designated teams and areas of St Mungo’s Broadway, we are looking for someone who will:
·Ensure that a high quality and proactive service is provided to all internal customers.
·Provide robust advice on employee relations issues.
·Undertake relevant strategic HR projects ensuring that they completed to pre-agreed time and quality standards.
·Lead, motivate and support a HR Administrator
In order to be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will need the following:
·CIPD qualification either (Chartered MCIPD,FCIPD or CCIPD)
·Up to date knowledge of employment law, best practice and strategic thinking in HR
·Strong generalist HR experience including TUPE, restructures and ER issues
·Ability to successfully manage projects to completion, including developing HR policies and practices.
·Demonstrable commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders.
·Excellent organisational, communication and team working skills as well as a flexible approach.
·This role will be ideal for an HR Advisor with an emphasis on ER and who is looking forward for progression to HR Partner
St Mungo’s Broadway provides a bed and support to more than 2,500 people a night who are either homeless or at risk, and works to prevent homelessness, helping about 25,000 people a year. We believe no one should be homeless and that people can – and do – recover from the issues that create homelessness. Our 1,200 staff support men and women through more than 200 projects including emergency, hostel and supportive housing projects, advice services and specialist physical health, mental health, skills and work services. Formed in April 2014 by the merger of two long established charities, we currently work across London and the south of England but influence and campaign nationally to help people to rebuild their lives.
