We are recruiting for an overhaul project based on in the UK, we are looking to recruit experienced personnel who have comprehensive knowledge of the Maintenance and Overhaul of Industrial Gas Turbines.
·Mechanical Fitters will be required to carry out duties such as Gas Turbine Disassembly, GT Component refurbishment /overhaul, GT Assembly.
·Must have experience with maintaining, repairing and installation of mechanical gas turbines.
·Actively take part in Risk assessment and all related Health and Safety issues.
·Must have experience with gas turbine troubleshooting and have experience with finding efficient solutions to any problems with Gas Turbine performance.
·Must be able to demonstrate an ability to read, understand and work from technical drawings and to follow detailed Mechanical Engineering drawings and Specifications and provide guidance where required.
·To ensure the correct use and condition of all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.
·To undertake/oversee faultfinding and/or Isolation of, Complex and Critical Systems and Equipment, ensuring all relevant permits and health & safety regulations are followed.
·Experience working on Industrial Gas Turbines of Siemens, Mitsubishi and General Electric design.
·Applicants must have proven experience.
·Must have proven mechanical fitter experience working on industrial gas turbines
·Experience in other mechanical rotating equipment is an advantage
·Attention to detail, dedicated, able to work within small or large maintenance team environment.
