Registered Nurse Opportunities (Clinical, Carer, Healthcare) BLUR15579 Wythenshawe, Manchester £23,500 to £26,849 per annum pro rata Full Time (36.75 hours) and Part Time Positions, Permanent and Bank

With this in mind, they are now looking to recruit both day and night shift Nurse positions on the Intermediate Care Unit at The Peele in Wythenshawe Manchester. The twenty five bed service works in partnership with UHSM to deliver rehabilitation services for people discharged from the hospital setting.

Reporting to the management team, you will be responsible for the leadership of the support worker team, delivering a high quality of care, ensuring positive health outcomes for the people supported.You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual and group interventions and will demonstrate an individualised, person centred approach to nursing care and support planning.

You will be responsible for administering medication as prescribed according to our client’s policy and NMC Administration of Medicines, including monitoring for effects and side effects.You will also be responsible for carrying out nursing procedures and treatments according to our client’s policy and procedure, adhering to NMC and NICE guidelines to ensure best practice at all times.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you hold a 1st level nursing qualification (RN, RMN) and have knowledge of CQC essential care standards, the regulatory framework, Mental Capacity Act, Clinical Governance, CPA, SAP etc.

Experience within a clinical setting is absolutely essential and you should understand the care and nursing needs of people in a health and social care environment.You will also have professional accountability in relation to the NMC and NMC Prep requirements.Experience of leading teams is also important.

The selection process will consist of firstly an informal visit to the site and then an interview with the Home Manager.
