Project Manager - FM Service Provider - Hertfordshire - Up to £45k + Company Car
Based out of the Herefordshire Office, my client requires a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to provide technical and operational support to a number of client sites situated in London; the sites vary from blue chip offices, Banks and data centres. Issuing reports on project team's performance, monitoring various day to day operational activities within the London project s team. Responsible for the delivery of all M&E projects generated by our service client portfolio consisting of 'General Projects', 'Reactive Maintenance Projects' and 'FM Projects'. He or she will attend monthly project co-ordination / reporting meetings, compile and update monthly program of work reports , client progression and performance reports, Manage and utilise the services of in-house engineering teams, Liaise and manage partner supplies where required ensuring project delivery. This is a pro-active role, which requires an individual able to consider wider team issues whilst developing and refining the project delivery to our clients. The ability to provide the service, to agreed SLA levels, whilst working within strict budgetary controls will be a prerequisite.
Key duties & responsibilities:Directly responsible for the projects administration resource maximising usage, performance and procedures associated with the administration role.Typically manage projects up to 75kDirectly responsible for all aspects of project delivery within the London businessLiaise directly with maintenance and quotation teams to ensure a seamless flow from reactive works to project delivery.Attend meetings with the client as requiredProduce scope of works as per the clients requirementsExperience in dealing with direct labour projectsSupply chain managementLiaison directly with clients on all administrative, approval and sign off processesPrepare documentation and obtain costs from partner contractorsEnsure service levels reach and are maintained at the highest possible levelsAbility to analyse costs and demonstrate value for money to clientCommunicate effectively with the client, the rest of the contract team and in particular the client and internal helpdesk facility's in all matters relating to project worksAssist with reviewing / standardising project proceduresGood working knowledge of local authorities statutory requirements and planning
RequirementsMechanically or electrically qualifiedProject management experienceExperience managing small works up to 100kDriving licenseFlexible on travel, only the role is predominately based in London, however you will also on occasion attend regional sites
