Job Title; Store Person Location; Hook, Hampshire Hours; Full Time. 0800- 16:30 daily, with the possibility of working out of hours when required Serco is a FTSE 250 international service company that improves the quality and efficiency of essential services that matter to millions of people around the world. RAF Odiham is primarily responsible for providing rapid mobility world-wide for the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force in support of Defence Missions and tasks. Home of the UK Chinook Force, Royal Air Force Odiham operates three Chinook squadrons and one Army Air Corps (AAC) Lynx squadron. We are currently recruiting for a Store Person to work in support of the Chinook Engine repair Facility (ERF) at RAF Odiham. It is essential the ideal candidate, will have the experience and a good working knowledge of the MOD supply system MJDI version 5 and be able to carry out the following on MJDI: - Interrogations- enables the user to track demands, issues, dues, in dues out, stock balances, AinU holdings, matcons, serial numbers the list goes on. - Issues- to Primary stock holders (GTR) for contract repair (GEO, GRP, GEM dependent on contract cover. GFR for bay repair - Receipts- from contractor (REC with covering paperwork, REK without covering paperwork. Possibly REM (receipt from unknown consignor. RFR for repair site. RIN/RIE from AinU. - Embodiment - is used to maintain stock control. E.g. issue of main assembly to a higher assembly (GUA) - Disembodiment- is used to remove items from a higher assembly, to return for stock or create stockholding for issue to repair (RIU) - Change MATCON- Change the material condition (GRS) - Change NSN/SERIAL NO- used to amend NSN/serial no. in the event of items brought on charge incorrectly GSA to write off RIS to bring back on. - Stock location- As spares increase (CESA?) location system will need to be maintained (ATN) - Demands- required to maintain stock levels. Understanding difference between (DNN) and (DNR) - Write offs- when authority is given by PT or Boeing to scrap any BR/Obsolete kit (GXD) - Ensure all C stores storage areas are maintain - Desirable not essential as training can be given, to be a fork lift driver, to deliver/collect Engines, APU,S and LRU,s to and from RAF Odiham Tech Supply. - Have a understanding of Lean and CI procedures - Have a understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and Quality Practices - Other task within their capability as directed by their Line Manger
