International Business Accountant

An outstanding opportunity to join our industry leading FTSE 250, branded client in a high profile position as International (EMEA) Business Accountant. The company is highly successful, ambitious and offers superb progression opportunities in their finance team both at International, Group and UK&Ire level. The International Management Accountant is responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Manager - EMEA in the delivery of robust financial and management information; Working with the EMEA BU to identify opportunities and deliver impactful and insightful analysis providing senior management with timely, understandable and robust information to aid decision making. Working with Group Finance to ensure that the statutory, financial and management requirements are delivered to timetable.-Internally provide the Finance team and all relevant stakeholders with accurate, timely and insightful information that drives business performance. -Support the production of the monthly BU's internal and Group MIP schedules including P/L, brand and channel analysis.-Support the production of the BU's financial reporting packages for the Strategic Plan, Budget and Forecasts including P/L brand and channel analysis.-Ensure the data in the period end reporting is robust, including all comparative budget and forecast data.-Responsible for the period overhead cost analysis and reporting for all cost centres in International.-Preparation of the budget and forecast overheads for International.-Driving best practice and standardisation of International reporting.-Responsible for the delivery of all Treasury forecasting requirements, daily, weekly, 12 week and 15 period forecasts.-Preparation of the budget and forecast B/S and C/F for the EMEA BU.-Preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review.-Support the business development process by providing financial support on specific projects.-Ad-hoc project support for the Senior Finance Manager - EMEA.The successful candidate will have a strong academic background (ideally a strong degree from a top university / excellent 'A' Levels) and be qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), with a proven track-record of progression in a commercial entity ideally in an FMCG, Manufacturing or Retail environment. You will be an excellent communicator, driven and ambitious with the desire to progress in a well-known, large blue-chip business.
