Salary up to £40,000 basic dependent on location + Regional Allowance of upto £4,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance + Excellent benefits package

Due to an increase in business, we are looking to recruit two Health and Safety Consultants to meet with new and existing clients on their sites / premises. To help create their Health and Safety documentation and management systems or to critique the clients own existing documentation.

This is the perfect role for a health and safety professional who wants to expand their h&s knowledge into new industry sectors, ranging from manufacturers to care homes and retailers.

We are looking for successful candidates to be responsible for our clients in either Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire areas; however, further travel may occasionally be required. Suitable applicants must ideally reside within the Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire.

Duties will include:* Undertaking of Health and Safety surveys of clients’ premises and production of relevant reports utilising the company standard procedures * Advising and instructing clients in the use of their health and safety management system and other relevant procedures* Liaising with Enforcing Authorities on behalf of clients when required* Advising clients on matters of Health & Safety standards and best practice affecting their business* Undertaking of accident or other special investigations to assist the client as required.

Skills and experience required:* NEBOSH Diploma Part 2 or equivalent* Graduate or Chartered member of IOSH * Excellent Communication Skills* Commercial Awareness* I.T. Literate* Ability to write concise reports* Proactive Approach to Safety Management* Time Management Skills* Customer relationship building experience
