Research & Database Administrator

Permanent  for Cyclops UK Ltd in Banbury

Cyclops is a world leading in speed camera databases. You can find our super accurate database in many of the worlds best satnav products, biggest car brands and on our own apps.

We are looking for a new member of our Research Team to identify potential new camera locations for survey and inclusion in our global database.

Reporting to the Technical Director the key tasks of the role are:

Research support:

Daily processing of the research schedule.

Filtering of result data from various media sources.

Liaising with international agencies as required for quality information.

Inter-agency relationship building to make verifying research results easier and more efficient in the future.

Administration and accurate archiving of research data and results.

Interrogation and analysis of data received from customers.

The successful candidate will also assist with building and maintaining the Cyclops static camera database and supporting our field survey teams with their survey tasks.

The ideal candidate will be:

Educated to an A-Level minimum standard.

Have Media, Research, Geography or GIS experience

Able to communicate clearly and effectively both internally and externally in written and verbal form, including an assured and confident telephone manner.

Capable of applying theoretical knowledge to practical problems.

Manage enquiries from members of the public in an effective and helpful way.

Able to work well within a team. Self motivated individual with a high attention to detail, able to prioritise tasks and manage work flow efficiently.

Experience of Microsoft office packages is essential to include Outlook, Excel and Access.
