Quality Engineer - TS16949, ISO, Hertfordshire
Andrew Bolton at CK Engineers is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an industry leading Chemical Manufacturer at their site in Hertfordshire on a full time, permanent basis.This is a day shift only based position working Friday to Monday.As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:- Day-to-day people management of a team of Quality Technicians as well as deputising for the Lead Quality Engineer when required.- Providing support to Manufacturing teams by implementing & maintaining the quality management system (QMS) in line with TS16949 & ISO 14001 standards.- Assisting with the development, maintenance and improvement of new product introduction (NPI) & batch release processes including running process failure model & effect analysis (PFMEA), control plans and advanced quality planning (AQP).- Supporting lean manufacturing activities within the quality department.- Providing training & support to other departments when required.As a Quality Engineer, you will have the following qualifications, skill sets & experience:- Demonstrated understanding of Quality Systems gained within an industry based manufacturing environment. Specific knowledge of TS16949 and/or ISO14001 would be advantageous, but is not essential.- Qualified to GCSE level including Maths, English & Science. You should also have or be willing to study towards (as part of the role) a degree level qualification.This is an outstanding opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a leading Chemical Manufacturer in a position that offers strong training & progression opportunities.
