My client, an established and prestigious company based in Chichester, is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team. Skills required:-Trained in secretarial practice.-Excellent IT skills in Word and other Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.-Typing skills to RSA III standard.-Able to use Digital dictation.Main Responsibilities:-To prepare correspondence and documents using the firm's IT and other systems including the digital dictation system.-To administer files which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures set out in the Procedural Manual.-To prepare mail and enclosures for despatch.-To undertake photocopying, binding and scanning and also to instruct others to undertake such tasks ensuring a consistently high standard of work.-To make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date electronic diary.-To assist in the process of monthly bills and the process of collecting any unpaid bills.-To ensure that a meeting room is booked and refreshments arranged for client or internal meetings as requested.-To attend clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care.-To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and clients' documentation and information.You must have proven experience in a similar role and have good secretarial and organisation skills.
