Food & Beverage Supervisor – Private Member Golf Club, Surrey
Salary Scale £16,500-£18,000 dependent on relevant experienceJob Function
To provide a friendly and professional service to all members and visitors, whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and care.Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and responsible for the department in their absenceDuties & Responsibilities
·To supervise and manage functions on a daily basis to meet customer needs.
·To charge and invoice for individual functions (IT literate)
·To manage beer and wine cellar
·To be responsible for replenishing food & beverage stock as and when required.
·To deliver food and beverage orders to the customer, with all relevant condiments and cutlery.
·Liaise with kitchen on special requirements
·To ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
·To change manage linen accordingly
·Set rooms and lay tables for functions
·To familiarise yourself with the menu and listen to briefings regarding functions.
·To maintain high levels of service throughout every function.
·To check stock levels and place order with Head Chef if require
·To familiarise yourself with health and safety procedures and SOP.
·To check beverage and snack stock and write weekly order using standard form.
·To receive and check deliveries, these must be put away with stock rotation in mind.
·Pipe clean on a weekly basis following SOP
·Follow Open & Close procedure and report any differences.
·Be aware of Club Emergency procedures – Alarm and Accident.
·Follow cashing up standards at the of each shiftTo be fully conversant with:
§The club’s emergency procedures
§The club’s health & safety policy and procedures
§The club’s departmental codes of conduct
§All rules, regulations and standards laid down in the staff handbook
§All operating standards and procedures within the department
