Contracts Manager- SAP, DEFCON, LUTONAn excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager, who will be responsible for the commercial management of agreements, bids and contracts.Key responsibility areas;*Construct and negotiate contracts, contract claims, agreements and partner / support to sub-contractor flow down*Attend and lead customer and partner meetings*Development and maintenance of commercial strategies; support and influence the business decisions, ensuring mitigation of risk and safety.*Promote a culture of best practice and sharing of knowledge within the function and across the wider business*Commercial Lead for bid activity proposalsSkills, qualifications & knowledge:*Ability to provide advice, guidance and leadership to customer and projects *Ability to engage and influence cross-functional/cross site teams.*Excellent written and oral communication skills.*Produce accurate work with attention to detail.*Demonstrated experience and knowledge of SAP.*Detailed knowledge of terms and conditions (knowledge of DEFCONs would be advantageous) *Ability to work with the company’s processes, including Life Cycle Management, requests for business approvals for tenders and agreements *Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Agreements (TAAs/PIAs/NDAs/Teaming Agreements) *Team player with ability to use initiative. *Able to seek/obtain positive outcomes, with a strong desire to win business and adopt innovative approaches to winning new business. *Excellent time management, ability to produce accurate work and obtain the requisite approvals. Applicants must have exceptional negotiation and communication skills, enabling them to enter into strategic cost and supply negotiations. Additional knowledge in using advanced planning tools (SAP, ERP etc) and DEFCONs will prove advantageous.
