Jewellery Designer - Creative CAD Designer
Our latest client is a high quality costume jewellery brand, stocked UK nationwide and rapidly expanding internationally. Their mission is to create high quality, timeless, beautiful jewellery at an affordable price point.
Creative technical CAD designer with expert CAD software knowledge to work in partnership with design, product development and merchandising teams on all core line and OEM Jewellery. You will be responsible for Jewellery specific rendering of all designs for their hard copy and on-line catalogue.
You will work alongside their in-house CAD team and report to the Design-Coordinator and Creative Director following all designs from sketch to sign off. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a fast paced role within the design and brand development team. As the company enters into wider product category fields, CAD design will cover these categories also.
You will be responsible for following their critical path from concept to sign off to ensure production of all models are delivered on time and budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide consistent meticulous graphic illustration + presentation artwork to the design teamCreate high volume jewellery technical product illustrations + artwork.Work with designers + product development on technical illustrations from initial concept through to finished productProvide key graphic support to merchandising teams on product presentationsWork with the design teams to collate all imagery + product information for selling toolsProvide digital catalogue with clear and accurate product visualsMaintain comprehensible digital asset library of CAD artworkEnsure product imagery visuals align with all CAD divisionsFollow seasonal department calendars and be accountable for delivering to critical path
PERSONAL PROFILEPassion for illustrating + creative approach to Jewellery and fashion graphicsMeticulous illustration aestheticAdvanced graphic software skills – Rhino CAD (Rinoceros 3D), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is essential. Specialist jewellery CAD software MATRIX is desirableUnderstanding and knowledge of accessories product and trendsExperience with graphic layoutsStrong portfolioBrand awarenessDriven designer with flexible and versatile approachPositive and inspiring team playerConfident communicatorEnjoys working in dynamic environmentAbility to manage multiple projects within tight deadlinesRelated degree in fashion / graphicsGraphics / CAD design software qualifications
