Temporary Academy Advisor

Temporary  for Office Angels in Mabgate, Leeds

Our client based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, is looking for a temporary Academy/Training Advisor for a temporary role for 1 month.Job purpose :Designs, develops and delivers appropriate training, development and coaching for employees and managers through the development and application of best practice training. Owns the process of development needs analysis and ongoing evaluation.Accountabilities :Supporting the Academy in the design of the Academy Programme, by applying sound knowledge and understanding of training and development as well as an understanding of business requirements.Consults with key stakeholders to ensure training & development requirements are aligned to business priorities.Developing the training and development frameworks and operational plans in support of the overall people strategy using workforce needs and individual development needs analysis.Operates the process relating to the assessment of training needs analysis techniques across directorates in order to understand the training and development needs of the organisation.Contributes to the design process for in-house training and development materials.Supports the delivery of training and development in conjunction with the Academy team.Ensures that training delivery targets are met.Delivery of training and development using a range of delivery options from classroom training to e-learning by both internal trainers and external providers, managing relationships with training providers with support from procurement.Managing the framework and process for employees and managers to undertake professional qualifications as part of their professional development, providing clear guidelines on qualifying criteria and the extent of financial support provided by the organisation.Designs, delivers and evaluates leadership development and coaching, working closely with the people development team and/or external providers to provide content.Manages the day to day relationships with external and internal providers for leadership development and coaching. Ensures that all coaching is signed off at the appropriate level before coaching relationships commence. Manages a framework for allocating mentors to leaders as part of their development.Continuously reviewing and improving the quality of output and processes.Have the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to actively promote diversity and equality of opportunity, treat everyone with dignity and respect and avoid unlawful discriminationSpecific skills and experience :Educated to Degree level with a professional qualification (CIPD) or equivalent work based experience. Proven track record of successfully delivering development priorities.Sound knowledge and experience of training needs analysis, training design and delivery and evaluation.Evidence of knowledge and understanding of the key priorities of a regulatory organisation.Experienced in managing, coaching and developing others.Proven experience of making positive contributions towards business improvement and teamwork within a fast paced, highly energetic environment.Able to think and act strategically to develop practical, innovative and creative solutions to the management of complex issues.Highly effective presentational skills, underpinned by the ability to secure and maintain the confidence of a range of stakeholders.Able to analyse risk and benefit within a fast-paced environment, and to reassess priorities on a continual basis.Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and tasks.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Office Angels is an equal opportunities employer.
