Sous Chef Berkshire- We are looking for a experienced Sous Chef for this amazing Releix & Chateau country hotel based just outside Newbury in Berkshire. Featured in many hotel & restaurant guides, this amazing quaint country inn boasts 5* status and currently holds a variety of awards for their amazing menus.
Ideal candidates for the Sous Chef Berkshire will;Have previous experience as a Sous Chef where you have worked to at least a 1* Michelin star levelWill be confident delivering quality and will understand how to run all sections cofidently in a modern multi AA Rosette kitchenWill be a great team player, as well as managerWill have a natural love for cooking with quality, local and seasonal produce
The role of Sous Chef Berkshire is based on the successful candidate working 50 hours a week, 5 days from 7. The hotel does operate split shifts, however the hours will vary depending on what is going on.
Salary for the Sous Chef, Berkshire is £28K basic, plus tips
The business is part of a small group of excellent properties and the role will see you working under a Michelin star Exec Chef.
The kitchen is open-plan, well laid out and fully equipped with all the mod-cons, ideal for any chef who loves what they do!
