New Lease & Landlord Negotiator - Up to £40,000

Serco manage 2 COMPASS (Commercial and Operational Managers Procuring Asylum and Support) Contracts covering the North West of England and Scotland & Northern Ireland. We are responsible for the provision of support services for persons claiming asylum, granted refugee status. These services include the provision of predominantly accommodation, transportation and associated services to assist service users settle in their new location.
Reporting to the Property Operations Manager you will work closely with the procurement / acquisition teams to set market parameters on lease negotiations.
Other key responsibilities will includeSetting of open market rents profiles and delegated negotiation bands for the acquisition team.Lead negotiation role for major LL investors.Work closely with all key Landlord Partners to develop partnerships to fulfil the required portfolio demand profile.Form relationships with new property portfolio providers to optimise market rentsAllowing good standards of maintenance to be met by the LL communities.
As the successful candidate you will be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will be a Member of a Property Institution (e.g. RICS, MCIOB, MBIFM) You must be able to evidence a good understanding of Landlord and Tenant Contract Law and also have proven and demonstrable experience in property estates management.
You will possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) with proven presentational skills, and success in delivering messages effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
