As an key member of the Outbound Sales Team you will be making contact with existing customers to showcase your skills in achieving sales through building rapport with your customers. You will present information in a clear and concise manner & your excellent listening skills will help us to understand the needs of the customer. Your ability to communicate effectively will help us to ensure that we are offering our customers the best financial offer available. The ability to adhere to scripts, work as part of a team and deliver to a set of targets is also a requirement, experience of working within a retail environment or a contact centre are advantageous but not essential Serco, is a FTSE 250 Global service company and in partnership with Shop Direct are recruiting for Outbound Sales Advisors. The successful candidate will; - Demonstrate our values and role model behaviours in order to provide an efficient and quality customer focused service; - Foster an entrepreneurial culture - Enable our people to excel - Deliver our promises - Build trust and respect You will also; - Make outbound sales calls to existing customers, offering a wide variety of products and services to suit their needs and encourage customer retention - Provide accurate information on products and services to ensure consistency across the organisation and provide a reliable and trustworthy customer service. - To follow the required scripts and guidelines to ensure the products are offered in line with the regulatory requirements - Identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate. - Operate customer related information systems to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records. - Understand and adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures. - Adhere to the Competence and Training procedures, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly and are properly informed.
Essential; - A self motivated, team player - An excellent communicator - A competent multi-tasker - Strong negotiation skills - Persuasive - Resilient - Personable - Ethical & Compliant Desirable (but not essential); - Previous Call Centre experience - Previous Outbound Sales or Marketing Experience Your working hours will be; Monday & Tuesday 12.30-20.00 Wednesday & Thursday 11.30-20.00 Friday 10.00-16.00
