French Speaking Logistic Co-Ordinator

An exciting opportunity for a French speaking Logistics Co-ordinator has arisen due to expansion with my Dover based client.

The main purpose of the role will be to plan and manage time critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and Worldwide to a blue-chip client base. You will need to operate within strict time constraints, ensuring that all schedules and deadlines are met.

Key tasks will involve answering calls and dealing with all queries professionally and quickly, building excellent relationships with clients who are under immense pressure. You will also need to liaise with international carriers to agree transport costs and ensure that you find the best solution in line with client requirements and monitor the progress of orders, keeping clients updated at agreed milestones.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate well at all levels, ideally with existing industry experience. It is essential that you are fluent in French speaking and writing. You will be a team player with a hands-on approach and enjoy working under pressure. A determination to succeed is essential. You will be required to work on MS Office and various internet-based applications as well as my clients bespoke traffic management system.

You will be working 9 hour variable day shifts (earliest start is 07:30am and latest finish 21:30pm) with a 1 hour lunch break. Days are Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is paying £22-24k pa.
