Permanent  for Serco in Kings Norton, Birmingham

Opportunities exist for experienced HR professionals to join the People Services case management team within Serco`s HR Shared Services. Due to service demand and internal promotions, we are now looking to recruit experienced HR professionals to join our expanding team. In this role you will use your employee relations expertise and excellent customer service skills to support our managers across a range of sectors and industries within the UK. -You will be responsible for providing specialist HR advice in relation to a wide range of employee related matters. -You will be self-driven and able to effectively prioritise your workload within a team driven environment. Candidates for this role should be able to demonstrate experience within the following areas: – Masters Degree or equivalent (A recognised HR qualification, CIPD or equivalent preferred) – Excellent knowledge of Employee Relations and up to date Employment Legislation – Support the effective and timely management of ER cases from beginning to resolution (including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence, employment tribunals etc) – Provide effective line management coaching and advice – Have a commercial and pragmatic approach to providing HR solutions – Be a professional and customer focused advocate of the service – Be able to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business – Have excellent negotiation skills and be a confident communicator – Ability to coach and develop our line managers – Ability to apply judgement to individual cases, make decisions and manage risks – Be able to work in a self-sufficient manner – Provide pragmatic and pro-active day-to-day human resource consulting – Ability to demonstrate presence and credibility within the organisation*** On Facebook? check out the Serco HR Shared Services page to see what we are all about.
