Chief Architect – C4i, ITILLondonChief Architect – C4i, ITIL Responsibilities:* Oversee and be accountable for technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. * Analyses will be performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. * Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. * Support and review all functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. * Serve as the principal liaison to the customer stakeholders and vendors/suppliers of technical products/solutions/services. * Serve as a member of Program Management teams, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Risk and Opportunity Management Boards (ROMBs) identifying and resolving risk and opportunity issues. * Be accountable for ensuring System Engineering staffing and mission domain expertise levels are sufficient to meet current programme and pipeline opportunity requirements. * Work autonomously and closely integrated with both clients and partner’s staff and be prepared to travel (in the UK) in support of the role: must be able to lead multi-disciplined teams in a quick start up modes, command confidences and guide and mentor as required. Chief Architect – C4i, ITIL Required Skills:* Proven program performance in a Chief Architect capacity delivering systems into an enterprise-scale, geographically distributed, multi-baseline operational environment.* Command and control and communications domain program experience * Proven ability to lead multi-contractor/vendor engineering teams in an on-time/on-budget delivery* Outstanding pedigree in the development of technical architectures, previous demonstrable experience on large scale endeavors in complex and challenging technical environments.* An ability to negotiate and collaborate with the senior leadership and clients’ customer teams to translate mission needs into operational and system requirements to correct mission deficiencies and exploit opportunities.* An excellent, articulate negotiator able to collaborate with the customer team to outline concepts, evaluate alternatives, propose, develop and provide leadership to deliver mature solution concepts to meet defined capability needs.* An ability to work within tight resource budgets to deliver cost effective planning and delivery with the ability to identify and quantify through-life costs* Previous experience supporting capture efforts and business development activities.* An excellent leader and enthusiastic mentor able to effectively educate and develop assigned staff to broaden the skill base.* Proven Leadership Skills * Ability to build rapport and cooperative relationships with customer and subcontractors/teammates* Ability to communicate to executive leadership, peers, and subordinates Desired Skills: * Working knowledge of ITIL * PRINCE II qualified * Familiar with and able to articulate the principles of the full SE lifecycle and V model.
