Systems Analyst

Siri Software Solutions is the mid range IT consultancy company specialist in the world with a single-minded and realistic vision: it has created many E-commerce, travel finance, health and media services in the UK. Siri Software Solutions provides testing, development services to various clients.

Job Purpose/Aim

We are looking for structured Systems Analyst who will be responsible for end to end analysis of the system including full life cycle of testing, requirements analysis background with extensive knowledge of Organisation and coordination of various testing phases includes Unit Testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Operational Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing activity with various test teams.

successful candidate working as part of the regional IT team, providing IT support, System analyst,coordinating with off shore teams,communicating between client development teams and infrastructure teams .

advice and analytical support relating to IT infrastructure services and software within the clients operation.

The candidate will have the core responsibilities as below:

·Defines and implements the overall test approach;

·Ensures that all test phases have appropriate entry / exit criteria and monitors achievement of these criteria Defines the business solution acceptance criteria and obtains sign-off against these prior to go-live

·Understands the overall programme benefits and analysis of the systems

·Selects appropriate systems approaches to ensure delivery of benefits is not compromised

·Creates and maintains test estimation, work order for demand/supply of test resource and negotiates where demand outweighs supply

·Defines roles and responsibilities for the test team and other key stakeholders including specific responsibility for production of all test deliverables

·Works with IT to ensure the availability of appropriate test environments and data

·Owns and resolves issues around the technical solution delivered into the business test environment

·Contributes to the definition of the cut-over approach, is key to the go / no-go decision making process and supports the solution through the warranty period

·Determines whether test phases will be automated and selects and implements appropriate test tools Produces the overall test delivery plan defining the business and IT test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activities; tracks progress against this and implements strategies to recover slippage

·Uses different approaches to estimating (top-down, bottom-up) to estimate timescales, effort and costs for the testing phases

Essential Skills 

·Must have experience of Agile Scrum, Waterfall, and V-model

·Strong background in retail, finance and travel domains

· Ability to present technical solutions/issues to both technical & non­technical people

·Transition/Migration Requirements:

·Build Service Delivery Models and Transition plans

·Work with key stakeholders to smooth transition

 Ensure all service delivery information is captured and stored in central repository

·Create and manage delivery models as they transition to global

· Incident management and fine tuning (CSI) processes as migrations progress

OLA creation, review and sign off

·Provide timely and accurate reporting

·Through understanding of Business continuity planning(BCP) and disaster recovery(DR) is a must

· Previous experience with the following productivity tools: Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Office,

· MS PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio, Java, .net, understanding of solution architecture is desirable

·Must have previous experience of developing reconciliation tool using excel,macros and VBA

·Must have experience with automation testing using java, selenium, webdriver, qtp

·Must have non functional testing experience with load runner

·Experience working on large/complex System or Software Migrations, Upgrades or Data Centre

Extensive experience in a fast paced operations environment working within an ITIL framework
