Our people's passion, commitment and loyalty ensure that customers continually receive the best specialist perfumery advice in the market.We are currently seeking individuals with proven multi-site Retail experience of managing and leading teams, to deliver commercial results, ensuring success is achieved against key performance indicators, as well as ensuring the Company reputation and brand are developed in line with existing high standards and expectations.A key requirement of this role is to develop, motivate and manage teams, ensuring each team member is working to their full potential and feels part of The Perfume Shop family and is engaged in the future of our business.The geographical area this role covers is within and around the Greater London area.Key duties include:Monitor and review performance of the Area and build action plans as appropriate to ensure all targets are met including salesGuide Store Managers in the implementation of sales strategy, promotional mix, stock control and merchandisingManage all vacancies through proactive recruitment, internal promotions and succession planningGuide and coach Store Manager in Team Management, driving engagement within teamsConduct annual and mid year appraisals with Store Managers, assessing store training needs and on-going supportControl operating costs within the Area to achieve the maximum return on investment and optimise productivityMonitor Marketing & CRM activities and build action plans to ensure success and address any under performanceTake responsibility for mystery shopping scores, communicate them appropriately within the Area and provide tools and support to address scores requiring improvement and drive customer focus & serviceActively promote our Rewards Club and encourage new card activation through customer activation activities and in-store eventsMaintain a high level of competitor awareness within your AreaEnsure operational compliance is maintained within Area at all timesAct as an ambassador for the Company at all times by being an inspirational role model to area and others.Knowledge, skills and experience required:Proven multi-site retail experience within similar role, with a good understanding of the local market place is essentialPrevious experience of managing a team is essentialDemonstrable leadership, coaching and mentoring skillsCompetent in Excel and other MS office functions.Person Specification:Bringing a positive energy to everything we do and having a passion for driving sales and profitability is a must for this role. We are seeking an individual who delights in exceeding expectations and who seeks to continuously learn and improve in all aspects of their role, including their own self development. The role requires a confident and strong communicator with the ability to quickly build relationships, gaining trust and respect from their teams and peers. The ability to work effectively within a team, utilising feedback and offering ideas, as well as having a pragmatic approach to problem solving is essential in order to be successful within this role.In return: For this role we offer a highly attractive package for the right person, including:A competitive salaryCompany car or car allowanceSingle person healthcarePension contributions25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a fantastic staff discount scheme.
