GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER- MGE SOUTH EAST

Your job

Working with this award winning global organisation you will be part of a team responsible for managing and developing a key venue sourcing client as well as building relationships across a portfolio of additional clients. You will also be responsible for increases in revenue through organic growth in this rapidly growing sector of the business.

The role is based in the South East and will require some travel to offices in Basingstoke, Farnborough and London but will also be partly home based with some opportunity for International travel. You would ideally be based in Surrey/Hants.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in Meetings, Groups and Events, ideally within the travel/leisure sectorUnderstand the client vision, corporate culture and financial conditions to successfully grow the venue sourcing programmeDevelop a company/client working business plan to review major deliverables/service performance so all expectations are metRecognise how buying decisions are made along with the capability of quantifying the influence of key individuals within the decision making processOversee the implementation and global roll out of venue sourcing programmeWork closely with key regional and country Relationship Managers to mentor and assist in programme roll out, contractual expectations and revenue growth. This will require some International travel.Work closely with the operational teams to ensure the service delivered, is within the scope of the contract and meets client expectationsManage client risk objectives including their return on investment goalsGrow client profitability through cost reduction initiativesManage the relationship with client specific preferred suppliersUnderstand the contract and financial reports generated in support of client commercial agreementsAnalyse trading data for negotiation opportunities and benchmarking of service performanceHandle all client communication, conflict resolution and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
