HR Manager - 10 Month FTC (maternity cover) - South Manchester - £35 - £40k
Our client based in south Manchester is currently seeking an adaptable and supportive HR Manager to over see the HR Function whilst the current HR Manager is on Maternity Leave.
As the HR Manger in this organisation, you will report directly in to the Financial Director and over see the running of a busy HR Department with a team of 3 self sufficient staff. This is a generalist role, coaching and guiding managers with policies and procedures in regards to capability, disciplinary & grievance, sickness & absence and any other employee relations issues. The post holder will also be responsible for the recruitment of senior positions within the organisation, and assisting the team with any interviews/assessment centres where possible.
The successful candidate will have previously worked in a similar role and possess full CIPD qualification along with experience of managing a small team. Excellent communication skills are also required as you will frequently liaise with senior stakeholders and staff at all levels. A back ground in Manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
