Job Title:Accreditation Coordinator

Location: Hertfordshire

Contract: 11 Months Fixed Term Contract – Full Time

Salary:£17,500 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Summary:

To provide administrative support to the Department including;

·Admin procedures for specific academic accreditation visits

·Management and implementation of academic accreditation visits

·Admin support for committees and working groups

·Project support

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·To use the company’s in house system for tracking, monitoring and implementing the accreditation process.

·To represent the company at a third of all accreditation visits in the UK per year providing advice and guidance to Universities and Accreditors. These visits will involve being away overnight.

·To coordinate all pre and post visit activity to allocated visits.

·To arrange and support the Committee and any relevant Working Party meetings as required. This will include coordinating papers, meeting dates and actions resulting from meetings.

·To coordinate any joint visit activities between multiple institutions and do related paperwork

·To be responsible for answering general enquiries.

·To provide support and advice to the Manager.

·To undertake any other duties and projects as requested by management.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

·Experience of managing administrative procedures using IT applications

·Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly oral and written communication skills

·Good team-working skills


·Higher Education sector knowledge internationally

·UK Higher Education sector knowledge

·Experience of Accreditation or Quality Assurance procedures

·Experience of working in Engineering or Technology
