Building Services Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Are you an Electrically Bias Building Services Maintenance Engineer with a proven background in the Commercial/Retail/Office & Warehouse Distribution sector looking to join an expanding company who offer an excellent package with ongoing training and development? On offer is an excellent opportunity to join an up and coming maintenance team. Due to our client’s growth and expansion of their main Head Office and Warehouse Distribution Centre they are looking for an additional site maintenance engineer. This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer with a Building Services background who still wants to keep in touch with the Installation of Works in the electrical and mechanical fields. The Role: As the Maintenance Engineer it will be your responsibility to provide both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to Electrical/Mechanical Services which includes Plumbing & Air Conditioning throughout the site, This will include over 900,000 sq feet of workable space, Offices, Restaurants, Toilets/Changing room facilities , High/Low level warehouse storage and the external areas of the site.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 07.00 to 16.00 providing Reactive and PPM cover.
You will be part of a call-out rota schedule.
Relevant work experience includes, but is not limited to:- Water Services (Plumbing),Air-Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, A/C Splits, Motors, Pumps, Actuators,Plant Control Panels, BMS/LCM controlled Lighting and site BMS.
Installation works will be expected to be carried out when requested in the Electrical/Mechanical areas. Skills Required:
·A time served Electrical Engineer apprenticeship
·Must have 17th edition IEE REG
·C&G 2391 is preferred but not essentialGood knowledge of Plumbing Services Experience of working within a similar roleA proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels Excellent attention to detail and level of accuracy Flexible approach to working hours A proven ability to take ownership for tasks and situationsAbility to prioritise and manage own workload
