Accounts Assistant

Permanent  for Office Angels in Blackburn

My client based on the outskirts of Blackburn are looking to recruit an accounts assistant to support the accounts manager due to rapid and ongoing growth within the business.The successful candidate must have experience of Purchase ledger, the ability to work at pace and react to the ongoing changes in projects. Duties will include but not be limited to; * Processing invoices & credit notes and other adjustments * Set up of accounts on the payments and sales ledgers * Raising invoices and credit notes * Supplier liaising * BACS and cheque payment runs * Price checking invoices * Processing receipts * Registration of invoices on system – Evolution * Scanning * Filing In return my client gives a friendly modern atmosphere, Mon – Thur 9am – 5pm, and Fri 9am – 4pm, on site parking and health and pension benefits.The ideal candidate will be motivate, willing to learn and have a background within an accounts department.
