The successful candidate will manage a number of programmes, each programme being a new product for the Company. The products will be at the forefront of technology in the global market and will support the Avionic and Targeting Business areas.
The programme manager is responsible for multiple projects from order acknowledgement through to production readiness, ensuring that the projects achieve the agreed deliverables, on time and to cost. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, the programme managers work autonomously within the wider business areas.
The successful applicant will gain a thorough understanding of our business and our market such that they can ensure our product developments meets the current and future needs of our customers. Because the programme manager has a pivotal role at the centre of product development, the role is varied, rewarding and challenging. International travel will be required, depending on the specific programme needs.

It is advantageous for candidates to have bid and programme management experience, and exposure to Prince II methodology, gained within an engineering or manufacturing process environment would be of benefit (but not essential).
