Our client is one of the UKs largest and most successful suppliers of private label and branded tea. The Company has two sites one in Bournemouth, Dorset and one in North Shields, Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Company has a reputation for producing premium quality products dating back to 1934.
The Company is now seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join the Head office in Bournemouth, Dorset.
The purpose of the role is to lead the Company’s UK financial, accounting, reporting and control and analyse activities across both the Bournemouth site and Newcastle Upon Tyne site.
The Finance Manager will be Responsible for;Support line management on cost control initiativesInvestment analysisProvide product pricing support to the Commercial TeamAct as a main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required informationProduce and communicate financial insightManage and control the Company’s accounting recordsOwn the Company budget processAssist in formulating and executing company strategyRecommend and implement changes that will improve the Company’s financial performance and financial controlsEnsure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards and that group policies are followed
This role requires a fully qualified management accountant, who has FMCG exposure within the manufacturing environment.
Line management within a finance team would be preferred.
